A Guide to MQTT by Hacking a Doorbell to send Push Notifications

In this video I'll use a cheap wireless doorbell and hack it so it sends me a push notification when someone is at the door.

I used this project to explain the basics of the IoT by setting up an MQTT broker on a raspberry pi.

After watching you'll be able to set up your very own (and free) IoT environment to connect all your things!

This video is also a base that other following IoT projects will build upon.

As always I use my great Atom Code Editor with the PlatformIO plugin installed.
